Pretreatment Program Awards

The Pretreatment and SmartWater Conservation Awards Ceremony honored those facilities that demonstrated a commitment to environmental compliance. Specifically, those companies that attained 100 percent compliance with their wastewater pretreatment permits.

The compliance awards are broken into four categories:

• Pretreatment Star Award welcomes industries with one year of compliance.
• Pretreatment Associate Award recognizes two consecutive years of continual compliance.
• Pretreatment Partnership Award recognizes 3-10 years of consecutive compliance.
• Pretreatment Stewardship Award recognizes 11 or more years of consecutive compliance.
