A drive-thru COVID-19 testing site is now available to anyone who meets Centers for Disease Control and state and local guidelines, including first responders, health care providers and others with symptoms of COVID-19 and those in high-risk groups without symptoms.

The no-cost testing site is in the parking lot at the Walmart Supercenter, 8520 N Beach St. Testing is available 7-9 a.m. Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Find out if you are eligible to be tested.

To be tested, individuals must schedule an appointment through eTrueNorth, which will screen individuals to ensure they meet eligibility criteria. If individuals have difficulty scheduling an appointment, they can call 800-635-8611.

Arrive no more than 10 minutes before your appointment time. You will receive an appointment confirmation that you will need to have on hand when you arrive. Bring a valid photo ID.

Those being tested will need to wear a mask and must stay in their vehicle for verification of eligibility criteria, ID check and sample self-collection. For the safety of all those onsite, the test site is not able to assist those who walk up.

Individuals being tested will perform a self-administered nasal swab in their car with a health care provider observing them. Results can be accessed online. Average turnaround time is three to five days.
