The Fort Worth City Council will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 11, in the Council Chamber at City Hall, 200 Texas St.

  • The Council will consider spending $122,000 with The Cleaning Guys for emergency flood cleanup at Lake Arlington and $1.5 million for street sweeping services.
  • The Council will vote on ratifying a lawsuit against Texas Attorney Gen. Ken Paxton over the release of confidential information related to a human resources case.
  • A measure would allocate additional funds to expand the scope of a planned skate park at Fire Station Park south of downtown.
  • A contract funds the Arts Council of Fort Worth and Tarrant County at $1.7 million to manage Fort Worth’s public art program.
  • The Council may adopt an ordinance denying Oncor’s application to increase electricity transmission and distribution rates.
  • Library Advisory Board Chair Chris Holbert will present the board’s annual report.
  • Tarrant County 911 District’s FY23 budget is up for Council approval.
  • There are 18 zoning cases on the agenda.
  • Proclamations will honor the centennial anniversary of Sigma Gamma Rho and Fort Worth Chorale’s 60th anniversary.
