Fort Worth Municipal Court has been celebrating Municipal Courts Week Nov. 7-11. Municipal Courts Week is dedicated to appreciating the contributions that Texas municipal courts make to the safety and wellbeing of communities. Today, the spotlight is on warrant forgiveness.

Anyone who has outstanding citations with the Fort Worth Municipal Court is invited to resolve their cases and may be eligible for alternatives, such as community service or a reduction in their fine amount.

Fort Worth is a Safe Harbor Court, meaning residents can always visit a City of Fort Worth Municipal Court location without fear of arrest for outstanding warrants issued by the Fort Worth Municipal Court.

Residents may visit the full-service location at A.D. Marshall Public Safety and Courts Building, 1000 Throckmorton St., 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday-Friday.

Court representatives will be in the community Nov. 12 at the East Regional Library. Contact the court at 817-392-6700 to learn about upcoming community events.
