The Fort Worth Office of the Police Oversight Monitor’s 2022 Community Perception Survey closes at 5 p.m. Friday, Dec. 9. Give your thoughts about the current state of community-police relations, Fort Worth Police Department policies and procedures, and community oversight of law enforcement.
Community members may complete the survey anonymously online.
Results from the survey will be used to help OPOM identify problem-solving measures related to FWPD policies, procedures, practices and training. OPOM will share survey results with the community during in-person and virtual engagements and online later this year.
Shortly after being formed in March 2020, OPOM launched perception surveys within the community and police department. Feedback received from the 2020 surveys helped drive community-police collaboration engagements, provide recommendations to city leaders on community oversight of FWPD and develop the new office.
