The Fort Worth Public Library invites families to take a magical musical journey to the North Pole with special performances by the Cliburn at select library locations in December.
Piano duo Sara Doan and Mikhail Berestnev will perform their take on Chris Van Allsburg’s beloved holiday classic, The Polar Express, on these dates:
Both events are free for the public to attend.
Cliburn in the Community provides the experience of live classical music performance for free to a broad audience through partnerships with vibrant venues and organizations throughout the Fort Worth area. The program brings in young, emerging artists for weeklong residencies that include performances and other community engagement opportunities.
As a destination for discovery, the Fort Worth Public Library celebrates art in all forms and strives to provide inclusive and accessible programming like this to the community.
