On Tuesday, an in-person, virtual and televised public meeting will discuss short-term rentals in Fort Worth.
A short-term rental, sometimes referred to as a “vacation rental,” is a residential property available for rent for guest lodging for one to 29 days. Short-term rentals exist in residential districts in Fort Worth, where they are not allowed.
The public meeting is scheduled for 6 p.m. Tuesday, July 26. City staff will deliver an informative presentation. Then, individuals will have the opportunity to address City staff for up to two minutes. The meeting will last until all speakers have had a chance to speak. Speaker signup begins in-person at 4:30 p.m. in the Council Chamber at City Hall, second floor, 200 Texas St. Speaker signup closes at 6 p.m.
Parking is available around City Hall; on-street meters are free after 6 p.m.
The meeting will be available to view live, then recorded on the City website and YouTube.
