This is last years article please check the FY2024 article. Not able to attend any of the scheduled budget engagement meetings?

Not to worry. You can send your thoughts and opinions on the proposed fiscal 2023 budget online.

It is simple and easy to use, and is available in a variety of languages.

Once on the site, users will be asked for the general area of town they live and in which council district.

And then it’s time to leave your thoughts, concerns and ideas about the proposed $2.3 billion budget. Participants are asked one open-ended question.

Participants so far have focused on transportation issues, such as spending more money on connecting communities equitably to parks, stores and schools, to better traffic enforcement.

One participant asks that the budget process be transparent, honest and straight-forward, and another asks for more sidewalks in Hulen Springs Meadow.
