Launch party celebrates app connecting parents, resources

The Best Place for Kids!, a public-private partnership focused on ensuring every Fort Worth child is on a path to learning and life success, will celebrate the launch of the Parent Pass app for Fort Worth families.

The Parent Pass app is a first-of-its-kind app designed by parents, for parents, to provide information and resources they need as a parent in Fort Worth, in one location.

To celebrate the launch of the Parent Pass app, The Best Place for Kids! is hosting a free event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 8, at Dream Park, 2001 University Drive. The event will feature games, bounce houses, giveaways, food and community partners offering activities for children of all ages.

Parents and caregivers who reside in Fort Worth can download the Parent Pass app free on the App Store or Google Play. The app features free parenting resources, including a local child care finder, learning resources for kids aged 0-18, family events, neighbor giveaways and more.
