This capital improvement project is Phase IVA of the Big Fossil Creek Collector Parallel Main. Construction will provide additional capacity to support existing and future development in North Fort Worth. This project will also benefit Haltom City and North Richland Hills, which are both Fort Worth Water customer cities.
The proposed sewer main will parallel Big Fossil Creek - and the existing sewer main - from North Park in Haltom City/Interstate 820 to Richland Plaza Drive at Broadway Avenue in North Richland Hills - just north of the Haltom City line and East Belknap Street/State Hwy. 183.
Landmarks include the Diamond Oaks Country Club, Iron Horse Golf Course, and the BISD Plaza.
The proposed sewer main is in Haltom City and North Richland Hills and is bordered by Richland Hills. Fort Worth Council District 11 is south of the project.
This project is part of the Fort Worth Water Department’s Sanitary Sewer Overflow Initiative program.
