Cromwell Marine Creek Road Widening

Temporary Closure

To expedite construction, starting January 21st, Cromwell Marine Creek will be closed immediately west of Bowman Roberts for 6-9 days to install the drainage box culverts across the width of the road. Access to all properties will be maintained and the detour routes will be WJ Boaz and Ten Mile Bridge Rd.

Cromwell Marine Creek Road will be widened to a four-lane divided road.

The project scope includes:

Right-of-way acquisition
Drainage improvements
Pedestrian lanes
Street lights
New bridge over Marine Creek
Modifications to Marine Creek Parkway roundabout in coordination with the Texas Department of Transportation.
Signalized intersections at Bob Hanger/Huffines Boulevard, Bowman Roberts Road, and Crystal Lake Drive

This project is in Council Districts 2 and 7.

January 2025 Project Update

This month, work to complete franchise utility relocations is underway followed by construction continuing.
