Street & Transportation Improvements

Cromwell Marine Creek Road will be widened to a four-lane divided road. 

The project scope includes:

  • Right-of-way acquisition
  • Drainage improvements
  • Pedestrian lanes
  • Street lights
  • New bridge over Marine Creek
  • Modifications to the Marine Creek Pkwy. roundabout in coordination with the Texas Department of Transportation. 
  • Signalized intersections at Bob Hanger/Huffines Boulevard, Bowman Roberts Road, and Crystal Lake Drive

 

This project is in Council Districts 2 and 7.

 

June 2024 Project Update

This month, weather permitting, work begins on the intersection of Cromwell Marine Creek Road and Bowman Roberts Road.

There will be minimal impact to the traveling public.

Project news

  • July 2023 Look Ahead
    1. The contractor and TPW will begin the process of relocating the franchise utilities. 
    2. The project manager and team will finalize Construction plans.
    3. The right of way acquisition will be finalized.
