Cast iron water mains – ranging in diameter from 16 inches to 42 inches – will be replaced in nine streets in Downtown Fort Worth, including:
The project area is bound by Henderson Street at West Weatherford Street to the north, Lancaster Avenue to the south, Cherry Street to the east and Fournier Street at 10th Street to the west.

This project is in Fort Worth Council District 9. Construction will impact the Fort Worth Downtown Neighborhood Alliance.
Landmarks include First United Methodist Church, Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office, Burk Burnett Park, Fort Worth Public Library, and apartments and businesses.

Join us Thursday, June 27, at 10 a.m. for a community design meeting concerning the replacement of cast iron water mains that run through the western part of downtown Fort Worth, and, replacement of a sewer line in Summit Avenue. The old Fort Worth City Hall at 200 Texas Street is the host site. The meeting will take place in Room 2020.
