The Downtown Resurfacing involved the downtown streets referenced in the 2023 Street Resurfacing map(PDF, 198KB).

Resurfacing streets with two inch overlay and re-striping has occurred. A longer-lasting asphalt called Super Sand Mix is being used to increase the overall pavement performance.

March 2024 Project Update

• Downtown resurfacing project including pavement marking is complete with the exception of the section at Commerce St and 8th St.
• Paving contractor scheduled to complete the remaining section in April 2024 after a developer’s project is complete.
