Grand Avenue Sidewalk Project

This is a project to build a new sidewalk that is larger than the current one.

The new sidewalk starts at Northside Dr., east to Clinton, and follows North Grand Ave. to Main St.

In addition, the design plans prioritize the historic trees located in this area and where possible, seeks minimal impact to these trees.

The purpose is to  provide a safe continuous sidewalk near Oakwood Cemetery.

This project is in Council District 2.

December 2024 Project Update

The City's Transportation and Public Works Department held a meeting on Dec. 5 at the Northside Community Center to discuss the project timeline.
