This City project is part of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Central City Flood Control Project in preparation for the future bypass channel relocation.

The storm drain pipe located at Greenleaf and 5th Street will be reconstructed.

By increasing the current pipe to a 72-inch reinforced concrete pipe, there will be a greater capacity for storm water to flow through the system and be discharged.

This project is located in Council District 9.
