Plans are underway for street paving improvements in the Historic Southside.

The streets currently scheduled for rehabilitation include:

1. Arizona Ave from E. Magnolia Ave to E. Allen Ave
2. E. Magnolia Ave from Arizona Ave to South Freeway SR SB
3. E. Magnolia Ave from South Freeway SR NB to Evans Ave
4. E. Magnolia Ave from Evans Ave to New York Ave
5. E. Morphy St from South Freeway SR NB to Evans Ave
6. E. Myrtle St from South Freeway SR NB to Illinois Ave
7. New York Ave from E Vickery Blvd to E. Terrell Ave
8. E. Vickery Blvd from South Freeway SR NB to New York Ave
9. E. Stella St from Kentucky Ave to E. Dead End
10. Alley north of Stella St from Kentucky Ave to Alley west of New York Ave
11. Williams St from E. Daggett Ave to Stella St
12. E. Daggett Ave from Alley west of Williams St to Alley east of Williams St
13. Missouri Ave from 150 ft South of E Magnolia Ave to E. Magnolia Ave

This project is in Council Districts 8 and 11.

February 2026 Project Status

Contractor is working on punchlist to correct deficiencies for acceptance.
