This Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) and City of Fort Worth project will improve pedestrian safety and beautify the corridor to attract more businesses.

Some roadway sections will be widened from two to three lanes.

Other highlights include:

  • Improved traffic signals
  • Pedestrian and bike lanes
  • Beautification elements such as greenery and landscaping

 

Greenery and other landscaping are planned on Horne Street from Camp Bowie Boulevard to West Vickery Boulevard.

June 2024 Project Status

The City of Fort Worth and the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) invites you to attend a public hearing with in-person option on

Thursday, June 27, 2024, at Como Community Center in Fort Worth from 5-7 p.m.

 

To log on to the virtual public meeting, visit https://www.txdot.gov/projects/hearings-meetings.html and in the “Search” box, enter keyword: “Horne Street”. In both formats, you will be able to view the proposed designs and layouts. Project personnel will be available to answer questions.
