Plans are in design to improve pedestrian safety and intersection elements along Main Street in downtown.

Seven intersections with stop lights along Main Street will be upgraded with the latest safety improvements.

Current plans include:

• Pedestrian safety signals
• Security cameras
• New pavement markings
• ADA compliant ramps
• Installation of new stoplight poles.

This project is in Council District 9.

April 2024 Project Status

City staff shared proposed improvements to intersections along Main St. Transportation and Public Works (TPW) provided design plans, answered questions and shared project timelines.

No work would begin in 2024.
