Main Street Downtown Intersections

The project proposes improvements to seven intersections (1st to 9th Streets; not 3rd or 4th) with enhancements for pedestrian safety along Main Street in downtown.

Current plans include:

• Pedestrian safety signals
• Security cameras
• New pavement markings
• ADA compliant ramps
• Installation of new stoplight poles.

This project is in Council District 9.

March 2025 Project Status

The design plans for this project is nearing the 100% or final design phase.

The team is coordinating with downtown stakeholders and a public meeting is in the work for April. More details to follow.
