This City project is part of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Central City Flood Control Project in preparation for the future bypass channel relocation.
The Fort Worth Central City Main St. Outfall Construction project will involve the relocation of storm and sanitary and sewer infrastructure along Main St and 8th St. The installation of a new outfall into the West Fork of the Trinity River will occur in preparation for the North and South Bypass Channel planned by the United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE).
This project is located in Council Districts 2 & 9.
Construction is ongoing.
