This City of Fort Worth Water Capital Project Delivery project will transfer water and sanitary sewer services – for Fort Worth residents who are along the west side of Marina Drive – from the City of Lake Worth to the City of Fort Worth.
The design provides for a proposed 24-inch in diameter water line on the south side of Marina Drive, which transitions to a 12-inch in diameter water line along Marina Drive.
There is also a proposed 8-inch in diameter sewer line on Marina Drive - north of the intersection with Telephone Road. The new water line and sewer line will connect the eight residences to the City of Fort Worth’s water and sanitary sewer system.
The project area for Marina Drive is bound by Lake Worth to the north and to the west, Malaga Drive to the south, and the intersection of Marina Drive at Foster Drive to the east.
The Marina Drive project is in Fort Worth Council District 7. Customers in the North Lake Worth neighborhood association will be impacted by construction.
The Marina Drive project is part of an overall project that includes the Bryant Irvin Road 30-inch Water Main/Pressure Plane Transfer Project. The Bryant Irvin Road capital improvement project is also under design.
The Bryant Irvin Road project is in Fort Worth Council District 3 and Fort Worth Council District 6. The Ridglea Area neighborhood alliance will be impacted by the Bryant Irvin Road construction.
