Growth within west Fort Worth and its extraterritorial jurisdiction (ETJ) requires continuous improvements to the water distribution system in order to provide and maintain reliable water service to existing and proposed developments within the Westside III,  Westside IV, and Westside V pressure planes.

The Markum Ranch ground storage tank will provide additional storage capacity in the Westside III pressure plane while the Markum Ranch  pump station will provide additional pumping capacity.

The ground storage tank and pump stations are proposed for a site that is west of Markum Ranch Road, south of Interstate 20, east of Bentley Road, and north of Aledo Road.

This capital improvement project is located in Fort Worth’s ETJ, west and south of Council District 3.
