The existing water and sewer lines will be replaced in Marquita Drive, from Calmont Avenue, south to Rosewood Avenue.

This project is in Fort Worth Council District 3.

The existing 12-inch in diameter water line is cast iron. To address frequent water main breaks, Fort Worth Water has committed to replacing a minimum of 20 miles of cast iron pipe every year.

In conjunction with water main replacements, deteriorated sanitary sewer mains located within the same street will also be designed and replaced.

This three block area of Marquita Drive is surrounded by businesses.
