This project includes traffic signals, pedestrian ramps and crosswalks in all directions at the McCart Avenue and Altamesa Boulevard intersection. Turn lanes will also be improved to enhance safety for all mobility modes.

This project is in Council District 6.

April 2024 Update

• TxDOT began construction on this safety improvement project in February 2024.
• The Texas Highway Safety Improvements Program (HSIP) provides funding for construction and operational safety improvements for locations both on and off the state highway system.
