McCart Avenue from Risinger Road to McPherson Boulevard will be constructed as a four-lane, divided arterial.

McCart Avenue from McPherson Boulevard to Twin Leaf Drive will be constructed as a two-lane, undivided roadway.

McPherson Boulevard from West Cleburne Road to McCart Avenue will also be constructed as a four-lane, divided arterial.

Roundabouts will be constructed at the intersections of McCart Avenue and McPherson Boulevard and McCart Avenue and North Crowley-Cleburne Road. 

This project is located in Council District 6.

August 2024 Project Status

• Right of Way (ROW)  has been acquired to allow for the project to proceed.
• Utility verification is underway.
• Construction Advertisement is expected in October.
• Construction is expected to begin around February 2025.
• More details will be coming for a  public meeting in January 2025.
• Construction is expected to last 18-20 months,
