This Fort Worth Water capital improvement project encompasses the replacement of existing 16-inch in diameter up to 24-inch in diameter cast iron water mains. Aging sewer mains will also be replaced. The project area is bound by Forbes Street to the north, Griggs Avenue to the east, Martin Street to the south, and Trueland Drive to the west.

Cast iron water mains will be replaced in an area that is predominantly in Fort Worth Council District 11. Segments are also in Council District 8 and Council District 5.

Shackleford Street, 12-inch in diameter cast iron
Collin Street, 16-inch in diameter cast iron
Rutan Street, 4-inch in diameter and smaller cast iron
Miller Avenue, 16-inch in diameter cast iron
Richardson Street, 8-inch in diameter cast iron
Eastover Avenue, 8-inch in diameter cast iron
Wiman Drive, 8-inch in diameter cast iron
Reed Street, 8-inch in diameter cast iron

Project landmarks include Glen Garden Golf and Country Club, Eastland Elementary School, Oaklawn Elementary School, Glencrest Sixth Grade School and Shackleford Park.

Construction will impact the Eastland neighborhood association, Glen Park neighborhood association, Glencrest Civic League, Echo Heights neighborhood association, Village Creek neighborhood association, Stop 6/Poly Oversight neighborhood association and, the United Communities Association
