Near Southside Medical District Water and Sewer Improvements

Existing water and sanitary sewer mains will be replaced in an area that is bound by East Vickery Boulevard and West Freeway to the north, Kentucky Avenue and Evans Avenue to the east, West Magnolia Avenue to the south and South Ballinger Street to the west.

This capital improvement project is in Fort Worth Council District 8 and Fort Worth Council District 9.

Cast iron water lines will be replaced in:

• East Broadway Avenue
• Kentucky Avenue
• Missouri Avenue
• 6^th Avenue
• Galveston Avenue
• South Lake Street
• West Peter Smith Street

Fort Worth Council District 8

• East Broadway Avenue from the I-35W frontage road to Kentucky  Avenue (water)
• Kentucky Avenue from East Vickery Boulevard to  East Broadway Avenue (water and sewer)
• Missouri Avenue from East Broadway Avenue to Stella Street (water)

Fort Worth Council District 9

• West Peter Smith Street from South Ballinger Avenue to South Henderson Street (water)
• West Tucker Street from Lipscomb Street to Hemphill Street (water)

• 6^th Avenue from West Terrell Avenue to West Rosedale Street (water and sewer)

• Galveston Avenue from West Rosedale Street to 150 feet north of Pulaski Street (water)

• South Lake Street from  West Rosedale Street to West Magnolia Street (water)
• West Peter Smith Street from South Jennings Street to Galveston Avenue (water)
• Galveston  Avenue from West Peter Smith Street to West Broadway Street (water and sewer)

Construction will impact the Historic Southside neighborhood association and United Communities Association in Fort Worth Council District 8 and the Bricktown neighborhood association in Fort Worth Council District 9.
