The Texas Department of Transportation entered into an agreement with North Tarrant Express Mobility Partners (NTEMP) to identify and construct highway improvements in the northeastern part of  Tarrant County. This includes portions of the Interstate 35W, Interstate 20, and State Hwy. 183 corridors within the city of Fort Worth.

This part is segment 3A. The affected area includes:

• Interstate 35W from Interstate 820 to Interstate 30. 

This part of the project is in Council District 2, Council District 4, Council District 8 and Council District 9.
