2025 North Tarrant Parkway Improvements

The Transportation and Public Works Department will be using Pay Go funding to replace failing asphalt pavement on following street sections: 

• North Tarrant Parkway, Eastbound from the North Freeway Service Rd to N Riverside Drive

• North Tarrant Parkway, Westbound from North Freeway Service Rd to N Riverside Drive

The project also includes damaged sidewalks and driveways replacement within the project limit.  

This project is located in Council District 4.

December 2024 Project Status

• The construction is anticipated to start in early January 2025 and be completed by April 2025. 

• Project signs will be in place prior to start construction. Door hangers will be placed on front door one week prior to construction beginning.

• Driveways may be partially blocked during rehabilitation and while driveway approaches are being replaced.

• Landscaping and irrigation will be kept intact or repaired to current condition.

• No trees or sidewalks will be impacted.
