North Tarrant Bridge over Whites Branch

The Transportation and Public Works Department will rehabilitate the bridge at North Tarrant Parkway over the Whites Branch tributary.

The project scope will include the following:

• Repair the concrete retaining wall along the culvert that control waters flow and prevent erosion.

• Repair the concrete wingwall along the side of the bridge. This is the vertical slab that supports the bridge. 

• Guardrail installation

This project is located in Council District 4.

February 2025 Project Status

• The east bound right lane will be closed to traffic from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm. No lane closure will be on west bound traffic.
• Both lanes on east bound will open to traffic after 5:00 pm and on weekends.
