This project is part of TxDOT's Highway Safety Improvement Program. The City of Fort Worth is collaborating to make these safety improvements.

Included in this project:

  • Traffic signal rebuild including Accessible Pedestrian Signals (APS)
  • ADA ramps
  • Flashing yellow arrow for all directions
  • New left turn lanes for all directions
  • Refresh pavement markings
  • New signal warning signs at the intersection of Ramey Avenue and Stalcup Road

 

This project is in Council District 5.

 

January 2025 Project Update

TxDOT construction began in May 2024 and expects to be done this month.

  • 100% of the Design plans were submitted at the end of March 2023.
