River Trails Area Sewer Main Replacement

  • Project typeWater and Wastewater Improvements
Water & Sanitary Sewer Imrpovements

Fort Worth Water will replace two 15-inch in diameter ductile iron sanitary sewer mains in easements in the River Trails Park area.

The easements are south of Trinity Boulevard and northeast of the West Fork of the Trinity River.

The project area is bound by a 96-inch in diameter concrete sanitary sewer main that is east of the West Fork of the Trinity River. The line extends north to an easement behind homes at the intersection of Tiber Trail at Saranac Trail - south of Trinity Boulevard.  This existing 15-inch in diameter ductile iron sewer main will be replaced. The sewer main was installed in 1987.

The east/west part of the project extends from the Tiber and Saranac Trail intersection, westerly, and ends just south of the intersection of the Sabinas Trail and Salado Trail. This sewer main was also installed in 1987.

This Fort Worth Water capital improvement project is in Council District 5. The improvements will impact the River Trails neighborhood association, the Historic Randol’s Mill Valley Alliance, and those who use the trail.

The Trinity Trails - Phase 2 River Trails Park to River Legacy Park project is also in this project area.
