Drainage Improvements

Hazardous Road Overtopping Mitigation (HROM) improvements are planned to mitigate storm water from flowing over South Cravens Road.

The portion of the road from Oakdale Drive to Baylor Street will be raised and widened.

Several upgrades included:

  • Storm drainage increases to prevent floods with a 1% chance of occurring
  • Raise and widen the road over the new culverts
  • New sidewalks and guardrails installed
  • Curbs added along the road

 

This project is in Council District 5.

  • Construction Start: August 2025
  • Construction Complete:  July 2026.
