South Hills – Kyle, Creston, Odessa & Westfield Area – Water and Sewer

Existing water and sewer mains will be replaced in an area bound by West Fuller Avenue to the north, Cockrell Avenue to the east, Southwest Loop 820 to the south and Overton Avenue to the west. 

Cast iron water mains will be replaced in Kyle Avenue, Creston Avenue, Odessa Avenue and Westfield Avenue.

Water and Sewer Main Replacement

• Westfield Avenue from South Ridge Terrace, to the east 530 feet
• Odessa Avenue from Covert Avenue to Stadium Drive

Water Main Replacement

• Kyle Avenue from Bilglade Drive to Medina Avenue
• Creston Avenue from Stadium Drive to Odessa Avenue
• Odessa Avenue from Martin Lydon Avenue to Creston Avenue

Sewer Main Replacement

• Easement south of West Fuller Avenue from Cockrell Avenue, then to the west 280 feet
• Easement between Binyon Street and Medina Avenue from Westcreek Drive to Odessa Avenue
• Easement between Binyon Street and Medina Avenue from Odessa Avenue  then to the east 610 feet, northeasterly 340 feet
• Easement east of Westcreek Drive from 125 feet north and 120 feet west of the Kyle Avenue/Bilglade Road intersection, then west 70 feet then north 220 feet
• Easement between Creston Court and Bilglade Road from Westcreek Drive, then west 365 feet
• Easement between Cordone Court and Creston Court from Westcreek Drive, then west 415 feet
• Easement between Cordone Street and Martin Lydon Avenue from Westcreek Drive, then east 880 feet
• Easement south of Martin Lydon Avenue from 112 feet south of the Stadium Drive and Martin Lydon Avenue intersection, then east 140 feet, then southeast 140 feet, then northeast 90 feet
• Easement between Cromart Avenue and Cordone Street from Westcreek Drive, then east 960 feet
• Easement between Covert Avenue and Cromart Avenue from Westcreek Drive to Odessa Avenue
• Easement between Covert Avenue and Stadium Drive from Odessa Avenue, then southeast 1,055 feet
• Easement between Vega Court and South Ridge Terrace from Interstate 20, then north 1,135 feet
• Easement east of South Ridge Terrace from Westfield Avenue, then south 140 feet

This area is predominantly neighborhoods. Landmarks include South Hills Elementary School, Hill School of Fort Worth, Kellis Park, and several churches.

This capital improvement project is in Fort Worth Council District 9. Construction will impact the South Hills neighborhood association.
