The project will raise and remove the roadway from the floodplain at the creek crossing, and will widen it to a four-lane divided road from Quicksilver Trail to Coneflower Trail.

Additional features include:

• Bike and pedestrian paths
• New streetlights
• New drainage systems
• New curbs and gutters

Flood improvements are planned for two stream crossings that include raising the roadway to mitigate future flooding.

This project is located in Council Districts 7 and 10.

March 2025 Project Update

• This project has been selected to be one of the City's Design-Build projects in that a single team is doing both the design and the construction.  

• Flatiron has been selected as the Design-Builder, has M&C approval, has an executed contract and is working.
