CITY HALL CLOSED MONDAY – ALL DEVELOPMENT-RELATED SERVICES REMAIN AVAILABLE ONLINE

Due to inclement weather and in the interest of public and employee safety, in-person development-related services will be suspended on Monday, January 26, 2026. We anticipate reopening in-person service on Tuesday, January 27 at noonif weather conditions allow.

ALL development services remain fully available and operational virtually.

Updates will be provided regularly, and any additional information about when in-person services will resume can be found on this page and on the City’s Winter Weather webpage.

  • Inspections: Only emergency inspections will be conducted during this period. For emergency utility reconnections during business hours, call 817-392-2222; after hours, call 817-269-9728.

Director of Development Services

D.J. Harrell is the Director of Development Services for the City of Fort Worth. His primary responsibilities include the administration of municipal planning, development facilitation, public infrastructure design review, and building standards for the city. He is known for his ability to develop and integrate teams to align around shared visions and goals, while promoting an inclusive culture.
