City Park & Recreation staff teamed up with the Texas Parks & Wildlife Department (TPWD) and Texas Christian University (TCU). Together, they turned the dark park into a live science lab.

Fort Worth Animal Care & Control is opening early for Clear the Shelters! Visit Henry’s Animal Campus from 8:30 a.m.–12 p.m. to adopt cats and dogs in Pod A. The rest of the campus will be open for adoptions from 12 p.m.–6 p.m.
Join us for our Adopt Joy adoption event at PetSmart Alliance! Meet adoptable shelter dogs spending the day out in the community and looking for loving homes. Get to know their personalities, chat with our team and maybe meet your new best friend. Saturday, August 22, from 11 a.m.–3 p.m. at 2901 Texas Sage Trail.
The meeting will include a short presentation on the proposed budget - followed by Q&A. It will also be livestreamed on the City's website and YouTube.
