Directions

The Central Library is located in downtown Fort Worth at the intersection of Third and Lamar, 2 blocks west and 2 blocks south of the Tarrant County Courthouse. Bus Routes: 10, 46

Parking

2½ hours free parking is available at 2 nearby garages. Validate your ticket at the Circulation Desk:

  • Sundance Square Garage 3 (420 Throckmorton St.) - entrance is located on 3rd St., just past the Taylor St. intersection
  • City Place North Garage - entrance is located on the southeast corner of Taylor and Belknap, Public Parking entrance.

There are two-hour and 10-hour parking meters around the library, with free parking after 6 p.m. on weekdays and on all day Saturday and Sunday. There are also a number of pay parking lots in the area.

From paintings and photos to sculptures and collectibles, the library offers a number of quality exhibits throughout the year. We strive to present some of the best works of local artists, photographers and collectors, celebrating both the talent and diversity of our community.
