Sprinkler Spruce Up 2018-Traveling Show

Fort Worth, an EPA WaterSense Partner, will launch a "Sprinkler Spruce-Up" campaign during May to remind residents to "inspect, connect, direct and select" their irrigation system to save water this spring.

A traveling Drip Irrigation DIY class will kick-off with Tarrant Regional Water District's DIY Sprinkler Expo, followed by four weeks of Drip Irrigation classes. DIY classes are a hands-on format, and are taught by Texas A&M AgriLife Water University experts.

Drip irrigation is the most efficient irrigation method for landscape beds, potted plants, vegetable gardens and home foundations. Students will learn how to install, convert and maintain a drip irrigation system. Materials are provided, and attendance is limited to 30 students at each session. Sign up in advance online at the links below, or call 817-392-8740.
