Shelter Closures:

April 11, 2025 - Fort Worth Animal Care & Control is reopening the Silcox Adoption Center only. Adoption appointments can be made online. The North Campus shelter remains closed to the public, and all new animal intakes are still suspended as we continue to recover from the recent Canine Distemper Virus outbreak.
