Pre-Development Information

Pre-Development Conferences (PDC) with City staff are offered for applicants to learn more about City development policies and procedures and to address site specific issues. These meetings are meant to be a “discovery” type meeting to help all parties involved with project due diligence.

Do I Need a Pre-Development Conference? 

A Pre-Development Conference is NOT required before submitting a development application to the City of Fort Worth.  

Some scopes of work can receive assistance from City Staff without scheduling a Pre-Development Conference, this includes the following:

• Flatwork (Driveways, Surface Parking Lots, etc.)
• Change of Use, Certificate Occupancy 
• Remodeling 
• Single-Family Developments (5 or less lots)
• Proposals within the Extra-Territorial Jurisdiction (ETJ)

Current Pre-Development Conference Availability:

• The Week of January 27th, 2025

Pre-Development Conference Schedule:

• Monday conferences are scheduled between 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m.
• Tuesday conferences are scheduled between 3:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.
• Thursday conferences are scheduled between 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.

• Please note: Development fees will increase on 10/1/24
• 30 Minutes (free)
• 1-hour ($281.25)
