Fun facts and History

Fox Run Park was first acquired in 1998. In 2005, the City Council accepted the dedication of an additional 5.762 acres from Centrex Homes in accordance with the 2000 Neighborhood and Community Park Dedication Policy. The developer chose to offset the required neighborhood park facility development fee by undertaking park improvements which included 1,500 linear feet of hike/bike trail, a playground, benches, and a pond.
