Oak Grove Community Park is an approximately 68-acre tract of land located at the corner of Oak Grove Road and Oak Grove Shelby Road in south Fort Worth. The City Council approved the authorization of acquisition of the property on November 3, 2015, by M&C L-15820.
Community park amenities may include, but are not limited to, athletic fields, walking trails, picnic shelters, playgrounds, security lighting, roads and parking. Such a community park and related recreational facilities do not currently exist in this sector of far south Fort Worth although the current population growth supports the need for such a park.
