Meters are located in the central business district, the medical district and along University Street near TCU. Meters in these areas are operational from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and are free after 6 p.m. and all day Saturdays and Sundays. Meters located in the Cultural District are on Will Rogers West and are operational 6 a.m to 10 p.m. seven days a week. All meters are free on City of Fort Worth observed holidays:
If a parking meter has a red bag on it, you may not park at this meter. If an unauthorized vehicle is parked on a red-bagged meter, the vehicle is subject to being cited and/or impounded.

On-street metered parking is available seven days a week from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. in the West 7th Street area south of West 7th Street, west of Foch Street, north of Lancaster Street and east of University Drive.
Two (2) hours free once daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Payment Options for Metered Parking
Parking meter fees may be adjusted 25 cents per hour on a weekly basis based on demand with a maximum allowable rate of $4.50 per hour and a minimum rate of $1 per hour.
Parking meters in the West Seventh Street Area are operational seven days a week except on the City of Fort Worth observed holidays listed above.
Coins are accepted at meters, as is payment through the FW PARK app.
Drivers are required to move their vehicles when the meter time limits expire. Drivers cannot insert more coins to extend the time on the meter.
Drivers with valid disability placards or license plates may park at city meters for free up to the meter's maximum time limit, listed in the rates above.
Parking meters may be rented for special events or in conjunction with construction work being performed in the street, sidewalk or adjacent property.
An initial fee of $20 plus $15 per metered space per day is required. An expedited fee of $100 is required per meter order if turnaround time is 48 hours or less.
In the event that the requester is disabled and needs to get as close as possible (at a street meter) to the place in which business is being conducted, please send proof of disability and proof of required business in the vicinity along with the request for rental.
