Last public meeting to share your thoughts on the 2021 budget

Fort Worth residents have one last upcoming opportunity to preview the 2021 city budget. The last budget meeting is scheduled for:

  • Sept. 8, 6:30 p.m. (District 3) Guests joining Councilmember Brian Byrd are City Manager David Cooke, Fire Chief Jim Davis, Police Chief Ed Kraus and Police Oversight Monitor Kim Neal.

The budget meeting will be broadcast live from the Fort Worth TV which, due to size, can not accommodate the general public. Residents can call or text questions during the meeting, with the phone number appearing on the screen during the broadcast. Questions can also be submitted prior to the broadcast as well as during the public meeting via email Councilmember Byrd and city staff will answer questions during the public meeting and they will also be posted on the city website afterward.
